Why Sponsorships Matter…
The Ridgway RiverFest is the primary fundraiser every year supporting the activities of the Uncompahgre Watershed Partnership. Our Ouray County-based nonprofit is engaged in several watershed restoration and education projects, including the Governor Basin Project, monthly River Watch water sampling and cleanups at Rollans Park, Ouray Ice Park and Ridgway State Park. We are also actively educating diverse sectors of the community about watershed health and issues through the San Juan Mining & Reclamation Conference, watershed education sessions, and lessons with local elementary students.
