The Ridgway RiverFest returns for its 15th year in 2023. Plan to join us to celebrate the Upper Uncompahgre River Watershed on Saturday, June 24, at Rollans Park in Ridgway, Colo. This is a great event for festivalgoers, sponsors and volunteers.
This annual festival offers an afternoon (Noon to 5 p.m.) of FREE family-friendly fun and education in celebration of the Uncompahgre River Watershed with all-age river races, awards and prizes, information about local nature and outdoor recreation, live music, food, and beverages. The RiverFest is produced by the Uncompahgre Watershed Partnership (UWP), a Ouray County-based nonprofit devoted to preserving and improving the economic, natural and scenic values of the Upper Uncompahgre Watershed.More information on UWP: uncompahgrewatershed.org.
By providing financial contributions or donations of products or services for RiverFest, sponsors can feel great about many benefits for themselves and the community.
Watershed Stewardship: Support awareness of our rivers, water resources and the need for conservation, and fund important water quality and riparian area restoration activities
Community Outreach: Widespread community recognition before and at the event on banners, posters, event website, social media, and statewide media
Tax Deductions & Credits: UWP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 46-2946756) so sponsorship donations may be eligible for charitable tax deductions. Plus, financial contributions at or above $250 may be eligible for a 25% Colorado income tax credit (or 12.5% for in-kind contributions) for Colorado donors.
