Why Sponsorships Matter…
The Ridgway RiverFest is the primary fundraiser every year supporting the activities of the Uncompahgre Watershed Partnership. Our Ouray County-based nonprofit is engaged in several watershed restoration and education projects, including the South Ouray Erosion Control Project, monthly River Watch water sampling, and cleanups at Rollans Park, Ouray Ice Park and Ridgway State Park. We are also actively educating diverse sectors of the community about watershed health and issues through the Rocky Mountain Mining & Reclamation Conference, watershed education sessions, and field trips with local students. UWP is also consulted for information about and support for about various activities that relate to watershed health.
